| Mini Dental Implants Dentures Shouldn’t Be A "Pain" Properly maintained, dentures work wonderfully as a replacement for missing natural teeth. While dentures certainly bring many life-changing benefits, almost all denture-wearers find that over time problems do occur. Typically, they become loose; move around and can cause painful sore spots. Maintaining them requires frequent visits to the dentist for adjustments and may require repeated relines and use of messy and often unreliable adhesives to keep them in place. Another difficulty for some is a severe gag reflex with the upper denture because of the covered palate. With mini dental implants, there’s simply no reason to suffer from these denture troubles any longer! Having this new procedure will keep your denture – upper or lower - firmly in place. The palate part of the upper denture can be removed – this gives a more natural “feel.” Not only will your dentures be far more comfortable — you can even wear them while sleeping — but also, having these implants placed dramatically slows degeneration of your ridge, the primary cause of loose dentures. What to expect: This one-hour procedure works with either new or current dentures. The process is simple: We install four to six ultra-narrow “mini” implants, after which your denture is adapted with special holders to grip the tiny tops of the implants, and it’s done! The entire process takes about an hour under local anesthesia, you feel nothing at all, and—unlike traditional implants—doesn't require cutting of gum tissue or stitches. As a result, this new technique costs far less than other implant methods that require surgery and then need months of healing time. In fact, when having this done, by the time you leave our facility, your dentures fit comfortably, you are able to chew without their moving around, and you can laugh, sing or kiss without embarrassment! You'll find there's little reason to take them out at all – except to clean them. For more information, click to view or download our descriptive brochure. |
